Kuei-Chun (Mark) Wang, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering (SBHSE) at Arizona State University and is affiliated with the John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. His research integrates vascular biology, cell mechanics, and nanotechnology to develop biomimetic nanotherapeutic and imaging platforms for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Dr. Wang has established a nationally recognized research program supported by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation (NSF), Arizona Biomedical Research Centre, and American Heart Association, and is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. His work has been published in leading journals such as Nature, PNAS, Circulation, and Biomaterials. In addition to his research, he is committed to mentoring trainees at all levels and advancing biomedical engineering education through curriculum development and interdisciplinary training.
