Finding the optimum cathode size that gives maximum volume of hydrogen peroxide in the Microbial Peroxide Producing Cells.
The demand for hydrogen peroxide is increasing in the advanced water and wastewater treatment industries. The current methods of peroxide production are energy intensive and carcinogenic. This research explores the sustainable production of hydrogen peroxide through exploiting Microbial Fuel Cell technology. The researcher will find the optimum volume of the cathode chamber that will give high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. This work is aimed to fill the knowledge gap in the large scale designing of the Microbial Peroxide Producing Cells at industry level.
