Effective Bismuth Doping on CdTe Solar Cells

This research aims to investigate the effects of bismuth (Bi) doping on the performance and efficiency of cadmium telluride (CdTe) solar cells. The study finds that Bi incorporation enhances crystal quality, reduces defect density, and improves charge carrier transport. This results in higher power conversion efficiency and longer device lifetime, which offers a cleaner and more sustainable energy solution for society. These findings contribute to the development of more efficient and durable solar technologies that can better support global renewable energy demands. The future work should explore optimal Bi doping concentrations and investigate long-term manufacture stability under real-world operating conditions.
