Adsorptive CO2 Capture from Ambient Air by Zeolites
Carbon emissions are at an all-time high and there are ways to mitigate pollution but few viable carbon negative solutions. Zeolitic carbon capture is a cheap and highly effective method for removing carbon from the atmosphere. The focus of this study is on nanozeolites and measuring their effectiveness of CO2 adsorption from ambient air at a wide range of relative humidities. The testing was carried out using both batch and dynamic column processes to measure the CO2 adsorption and desorption kinetics. This study offers a solution to carbon air pollution in both commercial and residential applications.
