Adsorptive CO2 Capture from Ambient Air by Zeolites
Carbon emissions are at an all time high and there are ways to mitigate pollution but few viable carbon negative solutions. Zeolitic carbon capture is a cheap and highly effective method for removing carbon from the atmosphere. Breakthrough behavior is determined by measuring the CO2 & N2 adsorption of zeolite pellets in both batch and dynamic column processes at various relative humidities. It is expected that the zeolites will work in a wider range of humidities than other carbon capture methods. This study offers a solution to carbon air pollution in both commercial and residential applications.
