Microstructural Characterization of Perovskite Thin Films Using Electron Microscopy

Perovskite solar cells are known for being low-cost and highly efficient. Nanometer scale defects can affect how well the devices work and how long they last. In this project, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) is used to take detailed images of perovskite films made under different conditions. These images help show how factors like processing and surface treatment influence the polycrystalline grain configuration and microstructure of the film. By studying these patterns, this research aims to understand what makes perovskite films more stable and efficient, which can guide future improvements in solar cell design.
