Fabrication of Oxide-Inclusions in Liquid Metal

Energy icon, disabled. An orange lightning bolt.

The goal of this work is to create a new class of multiphase liquid metal pastes with designable properties through the incorporation of solid and liquid additives. Liquid metals represent a unique opportunity due to their metallic properties and deformable nature. These liquid metals can be used to create a new line of cheaper and lighter electronics with flexible properties. This work intends to create easy to manufacture liquid metals with a broad range of properties to increase the appeal in use with large-scale manufacturing processes.
