Marcus Herrmann
Professor, School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy
Marcus Herrmann is a professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy at Arizona State University. His areas of expertise include fluid mechanics; modeling and numerical simulation of multiphase flows; model development and validation for atomization processes in turbulent multiphase flows; and numerical methods for discontinuous interfaces.
Herrmann was a visiting scientist at the University of Technology Eindhoven, Netherlands in 2001 before joining the Center for Turbulence Research (CTR) at Stanford as a postdoctoral fellow in 2002. Since 2004, he is a research associate both at CTR and the Center for Integrated Turbulence Simulations.
