Accessible Platform Development using Integrative Technology for Neurodiverse Students
Technology can improve students’ lives when they first enter college, so the goal of this research is to determine what students in the Employment Assistance and Social Engagement (EASE) program at ASU would find beneficial in an application. To do this, the researcher gave a survey to both peer mentees and peer mentors in the program asking them questions about the challenges they face and how their experiences could be improved. Then, the researcher started the development process for a prototype application exhibiting some of the features deemed useful. In the future, the researcher could expand this prototype and get feedback.
