Nanosphere Lithography-based Antireflective Metasurface for Enhanced Solar Absorption
Anti-reflective (AR) solar panel coatings are a promising technology in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, increasing light transmittance into solar panels. However, current AR coatings often lack durability and long-term efficiency. This research aims to design a silica metasurface using nanosphere lithography (NSL) to enhance cost efficiency, scalability, and durability compared to existing solutions. By precisely controlling nanosphere size and spacing, the research seeks to minimize reflectance and improve coating solar light absorption performance. This approach has the potential to boost photovoltaic efficiency and longevity, contributing to global renewable energy efforts.
