Concrete Canoe Fabrication and Competition

The Concrete Canoe competition consists of student-led university teams who design, construct, present, and race a full-size canoe made of lightweight concrete. The ASU ASCE Concrete Canoe team will work for the semester to design a theoretical canoe to be utilized for the 2021-2022 competition. The team will revamp the concrete mix design, create the hull design, create a website, and research 3D concrete printing applications. The team will then compete at the regional conference (PSWC) in the concrete canoe design paper, presentation, enhanced focus areas on unique canoe aspects, and video competition.
