Development of A Polymer Composite With Conductive Abilities For Sensor Application

This research project investigates the effect of the ratio of conductive nanofiller to elastomer in a conductive polymer matrix. This research uses a polymer composite made with carbon nanotubes and Poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS). Conductivity tests are performed on different samples to determine the electrical conductivity. Tensile test of the samples is carried out to establish mechanical properties. Electromechanical response experiment is conducted to show the electrical resistance induced when pressure is applied on the composite.
