Tin-Based Perovskites Nontoxic Alternative for Solar Energy Production
The research focuses on improving the sustainability of perovskite films by replacing toxic lead (Pb) with tin (Sn), aiming to create efficient, transparent photovoltaic window materials. By using a fully inorganic precursor, CsSnBr3 (cesium tin bromide), the goal is to develop a more stable crystalline structure. The research aims to improve ink quality by identifying the issues affecting solubility. The goal is to create a stable, sustainable, and fully dissolved ink that can form a thin, uniform layer on glass slides. Once the ink is achieved, the focus will shift to maximizing the efficiency of the perovskite without significantly compromising transparency.
