Nontoxic Material Design Using Tin-based Perovskites for Sustainable Energy Production

The objective of this research is to develop a stable, uniform, and efficient tin (Sn)-based ink for transparent photovoltaic window solar panels composed of a fully inorganic CsSnBr3 composition. This work demonstrates improved ink uniformity and stability, with drop casting proving more effective than spin coating for perovskite formation. Optimization of precursor concentrations and solvent compositions enhances film consistency. Photoluminescence measurements confirm the band gap of the CsSnBr3 perovskite and reasonable stability in open air. Current efforts focus on improving the film coverage with blade coating and operational stability against oxidation while maintaining high transparency.
