Additive manufacturing has been the main manufacturing technology used for building metal implants. A new material that has gained popularity is carbon nanotubes (CNT), which is able to enhance material strength, thermal and electrical conductivity. The research teams plans to build implants using this material and need to find the thermo-physical characteristics of the material to be able to optimize the process of powder bed melting for Cu-CNT materials. This project focuses on finding the thermo-physical characteristics of the Cu-CNT material.
