Lithium-ion batteries face environmental and economic challenges due to resource scarcity and complex manufacturing. Sodium-based solid-state electrolytes (SSEs) offer a sustainable alternative, but current fabrication methods are costly and inefficient. This work uses an open-air processing technique for NASICON (Sodium Superionic Conductor)-based SSE thin films using blade coating and Rapid Thermal Annealing for 30 seconds. Microscopy and X-ray diffraction confirm high-quality SSE films with few visual defects and the proper structure to let ions move easily. Promising results showed ionic conductivity improving with an increasing sintering temperature from 900 to 1100 °C for 30 seconds.
