Innovative Magnetic Field Design and Modulation for 3D Printing Biomimetic Microrobots with Programmable Material Distribution

The project consists of aiding the development of an innovative design for helical microrobots by creating a magnetic field generating device. Since the microrobots being developed are magnetic, a magnetic field will aid in testing by creating a rotating magnetic field that actuates the robots, and in manufacturing by aligning the ferrous particles during 3D printing. The device can create a high frequency rotating magnetic field that will cause the robots to rotate and move forward due to their helical shape.
