Solar Powered Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS)

The focus of this research is on the viability and construction of a scalable solar power system for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). The purpose of this solar power system is not only to provide a more sustainable method of power distribution, but also to provide easier implementation of RISs by removing the requirement for them to connect to a larger power grid. By taking the power draw of the various RIS components into consideration, the solar power system can be designed to not only power a specifically sized RIS, but also be scaled to power further larger or smaller systems as well.
