Being humble, honest, and hardworking is how to land your dream job.
The goal of this study is to improve “Intelligent Ground Robotic Vehicles” that focus on the long-term goal of designing a Flexible Autonomous Machine capable of operating in Uncertain Environments (FAME). The first phase design lacked the ability to navigate in tight environments. Implementing a design that allows for high-speed movements without causing damage will result in more object-detections. These autonomous machines have potential applications in the safety and security of lives, as it can apply to search and rescue missions after disasters. Future research includes exploring additional filtering sensors, such as a sound sensor and a thermal imaging camera.
