Testing Method of Soft Actuator

Elderly around the world have been diagnosed with mobility impairment due to various diseases that cause weak joints and muscles. The Kaiteki Project proposes a wearable hybrid robotic system that will assist and support persons in their daily routine. In order to determine if an actuator is acceptable to be implemented on to a person, limits of the soft actuators need to be tested. Using the constraints of the human body, a platform is created to test potential actuators to determine if they can be used as an orthosis.
