Enhanced Collaboration Through Group-Based Virtual Reality Experiences

This framework aims to enhance productivity and education in multi-user virtual reality. A classroom setting is used to show how education can be impacted, such as when an instructor splits the class into groups to solve tasks together. Different tools have been created to facilitate collaboration, including three-dimensional drawing, model spawning, and expressive avatars. User studies will be performed to evaluate differences in engagement and productivity between the framework and traditional, in-person collaboration. This framework will serve as a platform for future research into the utility of virtual reality.
