Development of a Multiple Linear Regression Model to Reduce the Appearance of High-energy Consuming Regressors in Manufacturing Environments

The focus of this research is the development of a multiple linear regression model to discover the factors that significantly contribute to overall energy consumption in manufacturing environments and to develop guidelines to minimize their appearance, resulting in a more sustainable and energy efficient approach. The research was conducted by investigating key company metrics in energy consumption, followed by statistical analysis on each metric to test for significance, leading to the formulation of a multiple linear regression model. This model could help identify the factors that have the greatest impact on overall energy consumption.
