Optimizing the Laser Scribing Process for Carbon-coated Perovskite Solar Modules

This research aims to explore the possibility of fully carbon-based electrodes with next-generation perovskite solar modules (PSMs) as a sustainable improvement to today’s solar panels. Laser scribing is an important component for PSMs because it fabricates the cell’s series interconnection and lowers the electrode’s resistance. This work focuses on the optimization of the laser scribing process by experimenting with different carbon thickness and deposition methods. These experiments were done to optimize the conductivity and uniformity of the carbon electrodes to improve the consistency of laser scribing and the uniformity of the electrode.
