Parametric Geometry and Meshing Tool for Automated CFD Design Optimization

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) design requires repeated manual geometry creation and meshing, which is time-consuming and error-prone when evaluating many design variations. This research develops a Python-based web application that allows users to manipulate predefined geometric parameters of fluidic components, automatically generating geometry and mesh without manual CAD modeling. The application exports both simulation-ready mesh files and 3D-printable geometry files, eliminating the need to rebuild models from scratch for each design variation. By enhancing workflow efficiency, this framework supports scalable optimization studies for fluidic components and improves reproducibility in CFD-driven engineering design. Future work will focus on expanding supported geometries and increasing parameter flexibility.
