Predicting Mental Health Struggles Using Machine Learning Models and Screen Time Behavior
Excessive screen time and app usage have recurring patterns linked to mental health struggles, especially in relation to brain-body coherence. Undermining these patterns would allow for early intervention and healthier digital consumption. This research trains a machine learning regression model to analyze screen time data and predict potential mental health struggles. Understanding these correlations between app usage and mental health will provide useful data and research for professionals in the health or engineering fields. The results could lead to improved digital wellness and personalized tools as well as reinforce the importance of healthy outcomes in a society rapidly becoming more screen-dependent.
