Zeolite Membrane Simulation for Ultra-Deep Dehydration of Organic Solvents in Semiconductor Industries

FURI Semiconductor Research theme icon

Ultra-deep dehydration of organic solvents is indispensable in industries that require high-purity chemicals, such as semiconductor manufacturing. Traditional separation methods, including distillation and evaporation, are often energy-intensive and may not achieve the required purity levels. This study uses ChemCAD to simulate zeolite membrane separation, first validating the model against established literature data and then testing custom parameter values. Key performance metrics such as membrane flux, permeability, selectivity and energy efficiency will be analyzed. The results will help to optimize membrane design, improve energy efficiency and advance sustainable solvent purification technologies for industrial applications.
