Verification of Ratiometric pH Sensing PHPMA-Derived Polymer in Human Neuronal Tissue Models.

Health icon, disabled. A red heart with a cardiac rhythm running through it.

Assessment of the cellular microenvironment is important to examine organ and cell function. The PHPMA-derived polymer can be used as in-line method to use pH levels to test the cellular and molecular function. These nanoprobes have been tested in different neuronal tissue models such as: neural progenitor cells (NPC) and 2D neurons. The nanoprobes will provide an effective solution to assess cellular microenvironment based on fluorescent color.
