Using Machine Learning on Naturalistic Driving Data to Predict Mild Cognitive Impairment

The objective of the study is to find out if a relationship exists between naturalistic driving patterns and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and how these findings can aid diagnosis and risk assessment of Alzheimer’s Disease. If successful, this project will identify biometric and driving signatures associated with MCI diagnosis. This is helpful for providing the medical care to take timely steps to delay the progression of the disease. In the future, advancements in technology will enable further driving studies to extract additional features, expanding the dataset for more accurate statistical analysis and machine learning modeling.
