Optimization of Mixed-Mode Bending Fixture

The research team was focused on the goal of improving the characterization of a modified mixed mode bending (MMB) fixture. Finite element analysis was used on the fixture to analyze the increased stiffness of the fixture while retaining a constant weight. The modified MMB fixture is currently being tested and analyzed.
