Optimization of 3D Printing Parameters for Conductive Polymer Nanocomposites

As conductive filament is only suited for low-power applications on small sensors and circuit boards, discovering a set of optimized printer parameters for minimizing resistance is critical to maximize its relatively low conductivity in electronic devices. This project seeks to implement statistical methods and experimental designs to compare resistivities and variances of the prints under different parameters. Identifying the set of 3D printing parameters that exhibit the lowest consistent resistance will enable the use of effective carbon-based conductive prints for future research on low-power applications or assist hobbyists in making reliable prints.
