Multiple Impact Effect of Cavitation in Soft Gels

Health icon, disabled. A red heart with a cardiac rhythm running through it.

This research aims to better characterize the multiple impact effect of cavitation in soft gels. By developing an understanding of the underlying mechanics behind cavitation in soft gel systems, this project emphasizes the analogous behavior found in biological systems. Further characterization of multiple soft gels broadens this comparison and real-world applications. Future work will mainly focus on other forms of characterization like DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis) as well as working with other soft gels.
