Microwave-assisted Synthesis Optimization of Na₃V₂(PO₄)₂O₂F Cathode Materials for Sodium-ion Batteries

This project investigates microwave-assisted synthesis of Na₃V₂(PO₄)₂O₂F (NVPOF) as a high-voltage cathode for sodium-ion batteries. We have optimized reaction temperature and dopant composition (Fe, Mn) to enhance phase purity, morphology, and electrochemical performance. Building on these results, we will explore the effect of calcination temperature on structural and chemical stability using Bragg Coherent Diffraction Imaging (BCDI) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analysis. The goal is to develop an energy-efficient, scalable synthesis route for high-performance NVPOF cathodes.
