Investigation of Inflammation Behavior of Aminoglycoside-Based Polymer Library

Health icon, disabled. A red heart with a cardiac rhythm running through it.

We will investigate the inflammation response an in vivo sample has upon varying polymers. This will include, but will not be limited to, polymers such as: Neomycin-GDE Polymer (NG), Paromomycin-GDE Polymers (PG), and Apramycin-GDE Polymers (AG). These investigations will lay the foundation for the use of these polymers in future work as the inflammation response will be quantified. This research will continue to push forth the understanding of a polymer-based delivery of transfection in vivo, and bring us one step closer to understanding how to treat debilitating diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.
