Geoengineering on the Polar Ice Sheet in a Changing Climate
The research project is about a simulational model to investigate the impact of recent changes on the polar ice caps, aiming to identify a geoengineering “tipping point” that could effectively slow ice melting. The findings will offer actionable geoengineering strategies to mitigate climate change, demonstrating a direct societal benefit by contributing to the preservation of global ecosystems and reducing sea-level rise risks alongside irreversible risks of global warming through higher entropy.
