Urea formaldehyde polymerization

This study focuses on modifying the conditions for urea-formaldehyde (UF) polymerization by gradually adjusting the reaction temperature and formaldehyde concentrations. The major goals are to establish the smallest amount of formaldehyde required to create UF polymer and to evaluate the effect of increased temperatures on polymerization speed. This study will use UV, DLS, FTIR spectroscopy to investigate the reaction kinetics under these changing settings. The research project focuses on urea formaldehyde polymerization This research increases our understanding of carbon fixation and polymer synthesis from ambient CO2, which will assist in the development of efficient catalysts. The findings have the potential to reduce carbon emissions, global warming, and create new materials for the construction and connect industries, with far-reaching implications for materials science and sustainability.
