Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Composites

Energy icon, disabled. An orange lightning bolt.

Composites are used in a wide variety of applications, from cars to spacecraft, from jets to missiles. It is necessary to understand the strength and durability of such materials to determine their usefulness, cost-effectiveness, and how long they can withstand varying conditions and stresses. The goal of this project is to conduct stress-strain analyses on composites to determine the mechanical properties and to gauge its performance in multiple sectors.
