Enhancing Urban Driving Efficiency: Optimizing Traffic and Acceleration-Deceleration Behaviors for Carbon Emission Reduction

Sustainability icon, disabled. A green leaf.

With growing concerns over urban carbon emissions and energy efficiency in transportation, this research aims to analyze various driving behaviors and their effects on energy consumption and carbon output. By collecting simulated data on specific parameters like acceleration, stop times, braking, top speed and traffic behaviors, this research group aims to quantify the relationship between carbon emissions and driving patterns. The results from this study will help advance the development of energy optimization techniques that aim to minimize energy waste and reduce carbon footprint.
