Load Managing photovoltaic (PV) system is proven to be an efficient systematic approach to extract the maximum available PV power. The project focuses on developing a feedback-based control algorithm and analyzing real-time experimental data for its improvement. Results show that the new PV system can perform maximum power point tracking without the need for power management and/or conversion devices by matching the number of loads with the connected PV array. The system presents a competitive PV-driven solution for hydrogen production, electric vehicle charging, and other applications to accelerate the decarbonization of our energy and transportation sector.
