Curating, Organizing, and Analyzing Neural Signals of Human Speech

Health icon, disabled. A red heart with a cardiac rhythm running through it.

With recent developments in the domains of machine learning and neural-signal decoding, this project seeks to explore the possibility of speech identification/recognition through the analysis of neural signals from the speech centers of the human brain. Using a relevant dataset, this project aims at testing the reliability around harboring onto machine-learning-based algorithms for the detection of human speech. Findings from this project can largely benefit multiple speech-related causes (disabilities, audible technology), including future plans for open-sourcing the dataset.
