Characterization of Ovarian Organoid with Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) emitted from living organisms can be used to determine potential biomarkers. The goal of this study is to create an environment in which the growth of cells can be controlled while also monitoring the changes in healthy and unhealthy tissue and how these changes correlate with VOC expression. During this semester, preliminary experiments were carried out in order to optimize and validate the Biodome model that has been developed for future studies in observing developmental VOC expression.
