Autonomous Vehicle Simulation Scenarios
This project aims to develop AV simulation scenarios in the CARLA simulator with animal and pedestrian road actors. By creating scenarios with these road actors, the AV driving performance can be assessed in diverse scenarios that are likely to be encountered in real-world deployments. The driving assessment (DA) metrics are used to quantify the performance of the AV as it navigates the scenarios. This work is part of an overall safety case-based framework that can be used to ensure AV safety.
