Security icon, disabled. A blue padlock, locked.

This research is focused on identifying and improving the fund allocation process in case of natural disasters. The research question is what fund allocation strategies and practices would minimize the problem of last-minute scarcity of resources and efficiently provide temporary accommodations to people in affected regions in case of these disasters. The research team is conducting economic analysis to identify specifics of these processes in different disaster scenarios (hurricanes and wildfires) and is working towards an improvised solution to the funding process.
