Adjoint Optimization of Pin Fin Heat Sink

This project explores adjoint optimization of a pin fin heat sink to address the challenge of minimizing both baseplate temperature and pressure drop in electronic thermal management. Electronic devices generate high thermal loads, requiring efficient heat sinks to prevent overheating and ensure reliability. Traditional designs often struggle to balance thermal performance and energy efficiency. By refining pin fin geometry, this method enhances cooling efficiency, making it crucial for advanced electronic systems.
