Adaptive and Accessible Data Acquisition for Platform-Independent Water Quality Monitoring

Sustainability icon, disabled. A green leaf.

This research project addresses the financial challenge data acquisition devices (DAQ) pose in water quality monitoring. DAQ systems are essential because data collection involves numerous sensors that output multiple signal types. However, they are often cost-prohibitive and hamper access to effective monitoring, obstructing water quality assessments globally. This research project aims to develop a universal device that bridges the gap between multi-metric sensors and data acquisition software. By enabling affordable and accessible data acquisition, there will be a reduction in the startup cost of water quality monitoring.
