The objective of this research project is to look at Metal-organic frameworks (MOF’s) specifically Mg-MOF-74 with different particle sizes and develop a relationship between particle size and trimethylamine (TEA) amount. It has been seen through SEM images that the more TEA added, the smaller the particle size will be. Creating a distinguished MOF crystal using TEA is difficult but the benefits are bountiful. Being able to control particle size is a huge advantage in different greenhouse gas adsorption.
