Sukjun Kim

Assistant Professor, Arizona State University

Sukjun Kim is an assistant professor in the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks. He received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2023, where his research focused on 3D-printed microrobotic systems. Then he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the department of mechanical engineering at University of California San Diego until 2026, developing miniature soft robots for medical and industrial applications. At ASU, Sukjun aims to develop next generation of miniature robots through mechanical design, advanced manufacturing, and smart materials.
