John Rajadas
Associate Professor, Engineering, The Polytechnic School
John Rajadas is an associate professor and the undergraduate program chair for engineering and manufacturing engineering in the Polytechnic School in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. His research interests include multidisciplinary design and optimization, thermofluids, alternate energy, applied aerodynamics, propulsion, turbulence modeling and reacting flows.
He joined the ASU faculty in 1994 with the Aerospace Research Center and the Polytechnic School in 1996. Prior to ASU, he served with the NASA Ames Research Center, in Moffett Field, CA (1991-1994) and at the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA (1986-1990).
Rajadas is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International), American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), Society of Engineering Sciences (SES) and American Helicopter Society (AHS). He is also an associate fellow with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
