Huei-Ping Huang
Associate Professor, School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy
Huei-Ping Huang is an associate professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy at Arizona State University. Huang's research interests are geophysical and environmental fluid dynamics, numerical simulation of atmospheric and oceanic flows, Earth system remote sensing, and climate change. The unifying goal of his research is to advance climate and environmental assessment and prediction on regional to global scales.
Huang has worked as a research associate in the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory on weather and climate prediction, and then as a research scientist at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University to study global and regional environmental change using large computer models.
