Ayca Tuzmen
Assistant Teaching Professor, ENGR Academic & Student Affrs
Dr. Ayca Tuzmen has been an Assistant Teaching Faculty in Academic and Student Affairs (ASA), at Fulton Schools of Engineering @Arizona State University (ASU) since 2021. She is the program coordinator of the Master of Computer Science (MCS) program in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI) @ASU since 2022.
She received her PhD in Design Computing from @ASU, Master of Computer Science degree from @ASU, Master of Science degree from @New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), and her Bachelor of Science degree from @Middle East Technical University (METU).
She taught courses in Computer Science and Engineering field as an Assistant Professor at Okan University, Kemerburgaz University, Aydin University and University of Sydney and as a lecturer at Koc University, She has introduced courses such as Introduction to Programming, SW Verification and Validation, SW Project Management, Database Design, Internet of Things, and Industry 4.0.
She was a Validation Engineer at Intel, Chandler and a Managing Consultant at IBM. The projects she worked on in the industry include CRM and charging projects for Vodafone Telecommunication company; Change and Release Management project for Morgan Stanley financial company; IT transformation projects for Isbank, Akbank financial companies and Akbank, Marphe insurance companies.
