Electrically Assisted 3D Printing of PEDOT:PSS Film for Solar Cell Fabrication
Solar cells built using PEDOT:PSS represent a possible new way forward for solar cell technologies. One of the current dilemmas with widespread use of solar cell technology is that large-scale solar panels are less energy efficient than other widely available energy sources. PEDOT:PSS based solar panels have shown great potential for future energy generation. The proposed research is devised to find a scalable manufacturing process for producing PEDOT:PSS based solar cells via electrical field-assisted direct ink writing. This project will experiment with different concentrations, mixtures, and amounts of PEDOT:PSS solution to find the ideal conditions for developing large-scale solar cells with better energy efficiency retention.
